A Full-Size 19x19 Go Board That Folds Into Its Own Travel Case
Enjoy a full-size game of Go without carrying a bulky traditional board. This solid wood folding Go board set combines the playing board, storage case, and carrying handle in one practical design.
Unfold it to create a spacious 51 x 47 cm (20.1" x 18.5") Go board for a complete 19x19 game. When the game is over, fold the board closed and store the included Go stones inside the built-in compartments. The compact 47 x 25.5 x 7 cm (18.5" x 10" x 2.75") case makes it easy to take your Go set to a friend's home, Go club, park, or on a trip.
Solid Wood Construction
Made from solid wood rather than MDF or particle board, the board offers a sturdy, natural playing surface with the warmth and character of real wood. The folding structure is designed for convenient setup and storage while the raised tabletop provides a stable surface for everyday play.
Each board is individually sanded and finished, so natural variations in wood grain and tone are part of its character.
Laser-Engraved 19x19 Go Board Grid
The 19x19 grid is laser-engraved into the playing surface for clear, lasting lines. Unlike printed grids that can gradually wear with regular use, engraved lines remain an integral part of the wooden surface.
The raised border around the playing area also helps keep Go stones from rolling off the board during play, especially when playing outdoors or on less-than-perfectly level surfaces.
Choose Your Go Stones
The set comes with 361 Go stones and two storage containers. Choose between two stone options:
- Yunzi Stones – A traditional Chinese Go stone option with a distinctive matte appearance and satisfying feel when placed on the wooden board.
- Jade-Style Stones – Imitation jade stones with a smooth, glossy finish and an elegant appearance.
Both options use approximately 22 mm (0.87") diameter stones, suitable for playing on a full-size 19x19 Go board.
Built-In Storage for Easy Travel
The folding board doubles as its own carrying case, so there's no need for an additional board bag. Two storage containers fit inside the folded case to keep the black and white stones organized during transport.
Vintage-style metal latches keep the case securely closed, while the integrated handle makes the set easy to carry.

FAQ
Is this a full-size 19x19 Go board?
Yes. When unfolded, the board provides a full 19x19 playing grid rather than a smaller travel-sized board.
Is the Go board suitable for travel?
Yes. The board folds into its own compact carrying case with a handle and built-in storage for the stones, making it convenient for travel, clubs, parks, and visits to friends.
What's the difference between Yunzi and jade-style stones?
The main difference is material, appearance, and feel. Yunzi stones have a more traditional matte appearance, while jade-style stones have a smoother, glossier finish. Both are suitable for playing Go.
Can I use the board outdoors?
Yes, it can be used for casual outdoor play. However, solid wood should not be exposed to prolonged rain, moisture, or direct sunlight. Wipe the board dry after outdoor use and store it in a dry place.
Do the stones have their own storage?
Yes. The set includes two stone storage containers, with one intended for each color. They fit inside the folded board for convenient transport.
Is this Go set suitable for beginners?
Absolutely. The full-size 19x19 board works well for both beginners and experienced players, while the folding design makes it particularly convenient for players who want a complete Go set without a bulky traditional board.
Does the set include Go instructions?
The set includes the board, 361 stones, and two storage containers. A Go rules or instruction booklet is not included.
