Craftsmanship – 32 barrel-shaped pieces of Chinese characters that have been deeply engraved and hand-lacquered for easy reading. Non-Printed – will not rub off.

Board – Made of solid wood, folded to half length. When closed, keeps all pieces contained. Strong hinge – does not wobble or loosen from the hinge.

Two sizes, 50# (smaller, more portable) and 60# (larger, more tournament like feel). Decide according to your available space and your taste.

Durability – Designed to be played every day, not just displayed. Rosewood or boxwood deteriorate more quickly than ebony, which is more resistant to chips, warps and moisture.
