This is a 15-line board, which is the standard grid size for Gomoku/Five in a Row — not the 19x19 grid used for full Go. The included 180 stones (90 black, 90 white) are sized and counted specifically for Gomoku play. If you're looking for a traditional 19-line Go board, this isn't it, but if you want a well-made, oversized Gomoku set, this is built exactly for that.

How much bigger are these pieces compared to a standard set?
Most basic sets use pieces around 1.6–1.9cm. At 2.2cm, these are noticeably larger — easier to pick up, easier to see from across the table, and less likely to get knocked out of place by a stray sleeve or elbow.
